Charity Work
From a very young age, Jill was encouraged by her Mum to raise money for charity. It started at the age of six with singing Christmas carols to the neighbours in aid of The Mayor’s Appeal.
Since then, she has performed in and directed numerous concerts and shows throughout the UK, raising money for MNDA, Macmillan, Florence Nightingale Hospice, ScanAppeal , Lindengate and many other charities and worthy causes.
Jill’s next charity concert is on 12th April 2025 at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, where she will host a ground-breaking evening of music and song, raising awareness of the impact of singing on mental health. Her two community choirs will come together and raise the roof as 200+ singers join together on the stage to celebrate the joy of singing.
